The 2025 Water Women Campout begins Friday afternoon and ends Sunday at sunset. All campers are welcome to stay Sunday night and check out by 10am Monday.

GENERAL ADMISSION tickets include camping for Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights.
ADD ON:
Vehicle Pass -All cars onsite must purchase a vehicle pass. If you plan to sleep in your car/van/ute or want to park near your tent please purchase a vehicle add on. Carpool where possible.
ADD ON:
Glamping - arrive to a bed set up for you. Glamping is for Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights and does not include your General Admission ticket. Only 1 tent ticket needs to be purchased for shared tents (2 or more people).

What’s Included

A weekend away with passionate Water Women, connecting with old friends and new.

- 3 nights camping surrounded by bush with waves out the front at Flat Rock Tent Park, on Bundjalung Country, Ballina NSW.
- Smoking ceremony and wisdom sharing with Aunty Lois, Elder and Traditional custodian of Nyangbul Country where the camp is taking place.
- Friday & Saturday night dinner and drinks included.
- Full program giving you access to workshops and talks designed specifically for our gathering by leading Water Women - surfers, scientists, artists, activists, wellness facilitators and traditional custodians and knowledge holders.
- Immersive culinary and cultural experience, Friday night meal crafted with native ingredients by Bundjalung woman and chef, Mindy Woods. Paired with wines from our partner, Australian Vintage.
- Massage tent to book in for optional massages and treatments
- Weaving and art space
- Land based wellness workshops to empower you in and out of the water. Including breath work, yoga, surf specific work outs
- Gift bag filled with goodies from our brand partners

What to bring

  • Camping gear 
  • BYO plate, cup & cutlery - to minimise waste
  • Breakfast & lunch (dinner is included) and there will be an option to purchase add on meals if you want us to do the cooking for you!) There is a communal kitchen on site with gas BBQ, microwave, kettle, and sinks

  • Surfboard

CAMP IN COMFORT / GLAMPING

Arrive to a tent set up with a separate bedroom and living space. Real mattress beds with organic cotton sheets with tables and chairs for the living space.

Single - sleeps 1: $360 for 3 nights, 1 x single bed

Twin Share - sleeps 2: $520 for 3 nights for 2 people, 2 x single beds

Crew - sleeps 4: $760 for 3 nights for up to 4 people, 4 x single beds

Start & Finish Time

Gates open at 1pm Friday the 30th of May, Welcome to Country starts at 4pm.

Closing ceremony is at 4pm Sunday the 1st of June.

Check out is 10am Monday the 2nd of June.

Camping & Vehicles

All cars/vans/utes will need to purchase a vehicle pass.

If you are sleeping in your car/van/ute or would like to park it close to your tent please purchase a vehicle pass.

We made this change to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible.

Make it a road trip and car pooll! A ride sharing whatsapp group will be created closer to the event.

Vehicles permitted at Flat Rock:

  • Small van type campervans
  • Camper trailers that fold out into tent-style accommodation (no hard walls)

Flat Rock Tent Park is not able to permit caravans or any of their variations including hybrids, pods, large motorhomes and campervans or similar. Please call the Park on 02 6686 4848 if you have any questions regarding your vehicle or trailer. 

Campfires

Due to fire safety hazard open fires are not permitted, however fires are allowed in braziers available to hire from the kiosk. To protect the environment, collection of firewood from surrounding bushland or beach is not permitted. Wood bought into the park must be hardwood or purchased from the kiosk. 

Pets

Unfortunately no pets are allowed on site, so please leave your furry and feathered friends at home.

Children

Babes in arms welcome, please let us know if you are bringing your bub along so we can help support you. This is a 18+ event. We hope to expand in coming years to be able to welcome kids with a range of activities and care for your little ones as well. Please be patient with us while we are growing.

Inclusivity

We created this campout as a space for women to connect, feel supported, nurtured and empowered. Anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome to attend, please know we use gendered language and pro-nouns in our communication to connect with collective feminine energy. Surfers for Climate support all gender expression.

Refund Policy

No refunds. Tickets can be swapped to a new ticket holder, please update the name on the ticket to the new attendee.
