An annual weekend of women in nature coming together to help shape the future of surf culture and protect what we love. Through a series of workshops, wellness, connection and celebration we focus on educating and empowering women to own their place in and out of the water.

Deepening relationships from our first campout in 2024, traditional custodian and Elder of Nyangbul Country in the Bundjalung Nation, Aunty Lois welcomes us back and guides us to live harmoniously with Country through knowledge sharing and authentic Bundjalung experiences woven throughout the camp.

On Friday night we will be treated to a Bush food education & shared dinner with Bundjalung culinary artist Mindy Woods of Karkalla featuring locally sourced, native indigenous ingredients. An unforgettable and special experience to enjoy a meal cooked by an incredible chef using native ingredients at home on Bundjalung country under the stars. We are so humbled Mindy Woods is joining us again this year.

  • Indigenous cultural and wisdom sharing with First Nations women. Connection to Country around the fire, through food, song, ceremony, weaving and conversation.
  • Hands on creative and interactive workshops designed for the campout from leading water women

About Flat Rock Tent Park

Located right on the beach between Lennox Head & Ballina and surrounded by coastal bushland, Flat Rock Tent Park is a beautiful natural setting for our gathering.

Facilities

  • Toilets and hot (!!) showers to keep us warm
  • Communal kitchen with gas BBQ, sinks, microwave, kettle, tables & chairs
  • All sites are unpowered. There are 2 powerpoints in the communal kitchen for charging devices.
