Between the Flags Hole-In-One Competition - Terms & Conditions
- Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Surfers for Climate Ltd (ABN 83 642 508 781) of 14a Banksia Dr, Byron Bay NSW 2481. Contact email: contact@surfersforclimate.org.au (“Promoter”).
- Nature of Competition: This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
- Prize Provider: The prize is supplied by Polestar Automotive Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 645 163 202) (“Prize Provider”). Prize Provider Disclaimer: Polestar Automotive Australia Pty Ltd is not the promoter of this competition and is not responsible for the conduct, administration or operation of the competition. All responsibility for the competition rests solely with the Promoter.
- Competition Period: The competition will be conducted on 22 April 2026, during the Between the Flags charity golf event at The Coast Golf Course, 1 Coast Hospital Rd, Little Bay NSW 2036.

Eligibility: Entry is open only to individuals who:
- Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
- Are Australian residents
- Have purchased a valid ticket to compete in the Between the Flags charity golf event
- The following persons are ineligible to enter: Participants must not be current or former professional golfers.

Entry Method:
- Entry is automatic for all eligible participants competing in the golf event.
- Entry occurs when a participant tees off from Hole 8 during official play.
- No additional fee is required beyond the event entry ticket.

Conditions of Play:
- Only one (1) attempt is permitted per participant
- The shot must be taken from the designated competition tee markers on Hole 8
- Hole 8 must be played at a minimum distance of 106 metres as measured on the day of play
- The ball must be struck in a single continuous stroke from the tee and come to rest in the hole without assistance
- No mulligans, practice shots, or re-shots are permitted
- The ball must be played in accordance with the official Rules of Golf
- The shot must be witnessed by at least one authorised event official who is independent of the participant and not a member of the participant’s playing group
- The hole must be played under normal competition conditions with no artificial aids, altered terrain, or modifications that materially increase the likelihood of a hole-in-one

Determination of Winner:
- The prize will be awarded to the first eligible participant to score a valid hole-in-one on Hole 8 during official play
- Only one (1) prize is available
- If more than one hole-in-one is scored, only the first verified hole-in-one will be deemed the winning entry

Verification:
- All hole-in-one claims must be verified by the official scorer appointed by the Promoter
- A valid hole-in-one must be recorded on an official scorecard and confirmed by the authorised witness
- The decision of the Promoter and official scorer is final and binding
- If a hole-in-one cannot be verified for any reason (including lack of witness, scoring discrepancy or breach of these Terms and Conditions), the shot will be deemed invalid and no prize will be awarded

Winner Notification:
- The provisional winner will be notified immediately at the time of play.
- The winner must then complete identity and eligibility verification within 28 days.

Prize Details: The prize is one (1) Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor motor vehicle.

Prize inclusions:
- Specification: Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor with Pilot Pack and Plus Pack
- Vehicle colour: Gold
- Drive-away pricing based on NSW requirements, including on-road costs, registration, stamp duty and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance (or NSW equivalent)
- Estimated Retail Value: AUD $85,249
- Availability and Substitution: If the specified vehicle, model, variant, or configuration is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a vehicle of equal or greater value, as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion, subject to applicable laws.
- Delivery: The prize will be delivered within six (6) months of winner confirmation, subject to availability and standard production timelines. 12.

Prize Claim Conditions: To claim the prize, the winner must, within 28 days of winning:
- Provide valid photo identification
- Provide proof of Australian residency
- If the winner:
- Is found to be ineligible
- Fails to provide required documentation
- Does not claim the prize within 28 days
- the prize will be forfeited and no substitute or compensation will be provided.
- The prize:
- Is not transferable
- Is not redeemable for cash
- Cannot be substituted or exchanged, except as set out in clause 11 13.

Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the Promoter using their:
- Name
- Image
- Likeness
- Golf footage
- for promotional and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, for a period of 12 months, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Privacy: The Promoter will collect and use personal information solely for the purpose of conducting this competition and in accordance with its privacy obligations under Australian law. Privacy enquiries may be directed to: contact@surfersforclimate.org.au
- Liability: To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and Prize Provider exclude all liability for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising from participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

General:
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the competition if it cannot be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control
- Governing Law: This competition is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
