Surfers for Climate Raffle – Terms and Conditions

  1. Organiser: This raffle is organised by Surfers for Climate Ltd ("Organiser"), located at 14A Banksia Drive Byron Bay NSW 2481. The raffle is hosted on the RallyUp platform. Surfers for Climate holds a current authority to fundraise under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW) (Authority Number: CFN/26936) issued by NSW Fair Trading.
  2. Eligibility: Participation is open to individuals aged [18+] who reside in Australia.
  3. Raffle Period: Entries will be accepted from March 14, 2025 at 2:45 pm AEDT until December 28, 2025 at 11:59 pm AEDT, inclusive. Entries will not be available to purchase after this period.
  4. How to Enter: To enter, purchase raffle tickets through the official Surfers for Climate RallyUp campaign page. Ticket prices and purchase instructions are detailed on the campaign page. No purchase is necessary where prohibited by law.
  5. Prizes: Prizes include the featured World Surfaris Maldives boat trip as listed on the campaign page here: https://surfersforclimate.rallyup.com/2025-maldives-trip. Prizes are non-transferable, subject to availability and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged. The winner is responsible for all flights, personal spending & taxes (if applicable). 
  6. Winner Selection: The winner will be randomly selected using RallyUp’s certified algorithm on or shortly after December 29, 2025. The Organiser reserves the right to verify and disqualify any invalid entries.
  7. Winner Notification and Claiming: The winner will be notified by email within 72 hours of the draw. Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days to claim their prize; otherwise, an alternate winner may be chosen. 
  8. Taxes and Fees: Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or costs associated with prize acceptance or use.
  9. Legal Compliance: Surfers for Climate is authorised to fundraise in New South Wales under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW). The raffle is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws. Entry in this raffle constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  10. Liability: The Organiser and RallyUp are not liable for any damages or losses related to participation or prize acceptance. Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organiser and RallyUp from liability.
  11. Privacy: Personal data collected will be used only for raffle administration and managed according to the Organiser’s privacy policy available at https://surfersforclimate.org.au/pages/privacy-policy.
  12. Fundraising Authority Details: This raffle is conducted under the authority to fundraise issued by NSW Fair Trading, Authority Number: CFN/26936. A copy of this authority is available upon request. Surfers for Climate complies with the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW) and associated guidelines, including record keeping, reporting, and accountability obligations. 
  13. General Conditions: The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle due to fraud, error, or any event beyond control.
